Decks
Custom wood or composite decks.
- Multi-level decks for sloped yards
- Stairs, railings & built-in seating
Razumovsky Construction LLC builds and repairs decks (wood and composite, including multi-level decks with stairs and railings), fences (wood, vinyl/composite and chain-link, plus custom gates), pergolas and gazebos for homes in the Portland area. We handle the permits when a project needs one, and owner Aleks Razumovsky manages every job.
Rain, moisture and soil conditions mean outdoor structures need proper installation to avoid rot, shifting or sagging later.
We look at your yard, soil and layout before we start, prepare the ground for drainage, use treated wood or composite, and set secure footings for long-term support.

In the City of Portland, an uncovered deck needs a building permit when any part of the walking surface is more than 30 inches above the ground. Lower decks usually don’t need a building permit, but zoning setbacks still apply. Covered decks and other cities have their own rules. We check the rules for your property and handle the permit when one is needed.
Usually not. In Portland, wood fences up to 7 feet and chain-link up to 8 feet don’t need a building permit, unless the fence encloses a pool. Zoning still limits height; in many zones a fence in the front setback can only be 3 and a half feet tall. We check before we build.
Wood costs less up front and looks natural, but in our rainy climate it needs regular cleaning and sealing. Composite costs more but needs less upkeep. We build both.
Chain-link and vinyl usually last the longest with the least upkeep. A wood fence lasts longer when the posts are set properly and the wood is sealed regularly.
It depends on the size of the job, the site and the materials you choose. After we see the project and agree on the scope, we give you a fixed price with no hidden fees. Call or text (971) 242-4048 to talk it through.
